Jury in Sears Tower terrorism case asks if oath to al-Qaida a crime

Excuse me? Why is this even a question? What possible debate could there be?

If, during WWII, someone within the boundaries of the United States had taken the sacred blood oath to join Hitler's SS, would they not then be treated as an enemy of the United States and perhaps even a traitor?

If a person takes an oath to murder as many Americans as possible in fulfillment of their membership in a terrorist organization, and indeed that terrorist organization (Al Qaeda) has already murdered thousands of innocent Americans, would the new terrorist member's promise to do more murders, to support more terrorism, not be part of a criminal conspiracy?

Since when is aiding and abetting NOT a crime? Since when is giving support to the enemy NOT a crime?

Hello... why is this even an issue?

Trial of US citizens charged with plotting to train terrorists begins

Opening statements were to begin Tuesday in the trial of three men charged with plotting to recruit and train terrorists to attack US and allied troops overseas.

Federal prosecutors say the men, who all lived in the Toledo area for a while, attended a Muslim convention in Cleveland during the summer of 2004 where they talked about training in explosives, guns and sniper tactics.

The men were there with a former US military man who worked undercover and helped foil the plot, prosecutors said.

Mohammad Zaki Amawi, Marwan Othman El-Hindi and Wassim I. Mazloum are accused of conspiring to kill or maim people outside the United States, including military personnel in Iraq. They have all pleaded not guilty.

All are US citizens except Mazloum, who came to the US legally from Lebanon while El-Hindi and Amawi are Jordanian-Americans.

Hamas Plans New War of Aggression Against Israel

Hamas' charter calls for the complete destruction of the state of Israel. They will not be satisfied until Israel and the United States both cease to exist.

The numbnut left-wingers in this country who know Israel is not the aggressor but who persist in their anti-Semitic diatribes against our ally Israel have to do some real pretzel-twisting to continue to support terrorist Hamas.

I'll spell it out. The numbnuts are FOR Hamas because the numbnuts claim to want peace. But, that doesn't jive with the reality of Hamas' constant bombardment of rockets into Israel. Hamas = murder and aggression. The numbnuts want Hamas to be weak and defenseless and the poor simple victims of Israeli self-defense moves... that were started by Hamas rocket attacks/aggression. Whatever lie fits the numbnuts program, that's the one they promote.

Okay. Enough pretzel-twisting. For now.

So, now Hamas is threatening another war of aggression. They warn they should be allowed to launch their rockets against innocent civilians without facing any repercussions whatsoever. They warn if Israel defends itself in this war, "Jews, go back, because we have already dug graves for you."

And the numbnuts will still call Hamas the peaceful ones.
